Garlicky Shrimp Scampi with Linguine

Ingredients:

8 oz linguine 🍝
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined 🍤
4 tbsp unsalted butter 🧈
4 garlic cloves, minced 🧄
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional) 🌶️
¼ cup white wine 🍷
¼ cup fresh lemon juice 🍋
Zest of 1 lemon 🍋
Salt & pepper, to taste 🧂
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped 🌿
Lemon slices (for garnish) 🍋
Grated Parmesan (for serving) 🧀
Directions:

Cook Pasta:
Boil linguine until al dente, then drain.

Sauté Shrimp:
Melt butter in a skillet, add garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant.

Cook Shrimp:
Add shrimp, cooking 2-3 minutes per side until pink.

Make Sauce:
Pour in white wine, lemon juice, and zest. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Combine:
Toss the cooked pasta with the shrimp and sauce.

Garnish:
Top with parsley, lemon slices, and serve with grated Parmesan.
